Different law colleges conduct different law entrance exams to admit students to law courses and legal studies. Some are college level law entrance exams and some are university level law entrance exams. Below is list of various Law Entrance Tests that take place in India.
General Eligibility for Law Entrance Exams
There are some differences in eligibility of institutes but mostly institutes take students of the 12th standard for five year integrate programs, graduates for LLB and the students of LLB standard for LLM program. The age limit is between 17 to 20 years for integrated program. There is no age limit for LLB, LLM and research programs.
General Law Entrance Exam Pattern
The entrance exam question paper covers General English, Reasoning, Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability for the five year integrate programs and the three year LLB programs.
