TANCET 2011 Description

Anna University conducts the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to MBA, MCA, M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan programme in Tamil Nadu offered at Universty Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University Coimbatore, Anna University Trichy, Anna University, Tirunelveli, Govt. Engineering, Arts and Science Colleges, Govt. Aided Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, and Govt. Quota seats in self-financing Engineering and Arts & Science Colleges / standalone Institutions. Apart from these institutes some Universities and Self–Financing Engineering Colleges may also opt to admit the students on the basis of TANCET for their quota of seats. TANCET is not limited to candidates of Tamil Nadu only, but admission will be subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions of the admitting authority.

TANCET 2011 Eligibility

MBA: A pass in any recognised Bachelors degree with 10 + 2 + 3 or 4 years or a pass in any degree with 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern.

TANCET 2011 Exam Pattern

• There will be multiple type questions and there will be 100 questions.
• Test duration is two hours.
• 100 marks is total marks.
• There is negative marking in the test and 1/5 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
