TMI 2011 Description

Tolani Maritime Institute is a world class institute which provides an excellent training ground for Marine Engineers and Nautical Officers. TMI invites applications from aspiring individuals who want to take up the challenge and reward offered by a seafaring career. It selects candidates on the basis of TMISAT / BITSAT for its B.S.M.E. and B.S.N.T.

Institute itself conducts the test with collaboration of Birla Institute of Tececnology (BITS).

TMI 2011 Eligibility

1. Candidates who have passed their 12th standard are eligible for appearing in TMISAT/BITSAT .
2. Candidates must have obtained 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology and at lest 60% in each of the subjects.
3. Candidates are also expected to have proficiency in English.

TMI 2011 Exam Pattern

1. The test lasts for three hours and it will be of multiple choice questions.
2. There are 150 questions and each question carries three marks
3. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

TMI 2011 Fees Details

The application form can be collected from the official website and it can be filled online. Candidates can also send the request for the form mentioning name to Admissions Officer. The request should be with a crossed demand draft of Rs.850. The request for forms should be sent only by Speed post or Registered post.
