JMI 2011 Description

Jamia Milia Islamia conducts separate entrance examination for admission to its B.Tech course every year. Students have to give their best in this exam in order to get admission in their course of interest. Admission to B.Tech is based on an entrance test and an interview. The weightage of entrance test is 170 marks and the weightage of interview is 30 marks. The candidates who clear the written test are only called for interview at a later stage. It is a highly reputed university for higher education in a number of fields like Social Sciences, Literature, Arts, Applied Sciences, Management, Media, and Engineering etc. B. Tech is offered in five branches with each branch having 70 seats each.

JMI 2011 Eligibility

1. A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in Aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in the respective year can also apply.
3. Also a candidate should be between the age of 17 years and 23 years as on 1st October of the respective year.

The paper will be of 3 hours duration consisting of objective type questions of 170 marks:

1. Physics-55 marks
2. Chemistry-55 marks
3. Mathematics-60 marks

JMI 2011 Exam Pattern

The paper will be of 3 hours duration consisting of objective type questions of 170 marks:

2. Chemistry-55 marks
3. Mathematics-60 marks
