AMIETE 2011 Description

The Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is the National Apex Professional body of Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer & IT professionals. The Institute conducts Graduateship examination (AMIETE – Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers), and Diploma Examination (DIPIETE – Diploma of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers).
The membership examination of IETE (DIPIETE / AMIETE) is recognized by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for employment to posts and services under the central government, in the appropriate fields. Candidates after passing DIPIETE or AMIETE can opt to work with government or private agencies or can choose for higher studies. AMIETE examinations are conducted twice a year, in June and December respectively, at different Centers throughout India and in few locations abroad.

AMIETE 2011 Conducting Body

Institute itself conducts the test. The membership examination of IETE (DIPIETE / AMIETE) is recognized by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for employment to posts and services under the central government, in the appropriate fields.

AMIETE 2011 Eligibility

Educational Qualification :

1. For Graduateship (AMIETE) Examination a candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Maths conducted by a recognised Board of Education.
2. They should have possessing qualification of any 3 year Diploma course in Engineering / Technology with subjects of Maths and Physics to 10+2 level and working experience in relevant field.
3. They should be studying for higher qualification with physics/electrical/electronics/computer field.

Age:
Candidates applying for studentship for AMIETE examination shall not be less than 16/18 years of age for 10+2/Diploma holders respectively.

AMIETE 2011 Exam Pattern

The exam paper will have questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics of the 12th standard. Test consists of objective type questions with four options. Time duration for the test is three hours.

1. Electronics Telecommunication Engineering (ET)
2. Computer Science and Engineering (CS)
3. Information Technology (IT)
4. ALCCS leading to M.Tech. is offered only in Computer Science Engineering (CS) discipline

AMIETE 2011 Fees Details

The Application Form can be collected from the counter in person on the payment of Rs 250/ and through post by sending a request with demand draft. It can be collected from the official website of the university.

AMIETE 2011 Syllabus

They follow the basic syllabus of Senior Secondry Examination and questions are generally from 10+2 standard physics, chemistry, and maths.
