Dr. D.Y. Patil All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test(AIPGMET) is an entrance examination conducted for admission to MD(Doctor of Medicine) and MS(Master of Science) courses.

AIET BTech 2012 Description

The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test is conducted for admissions to various post graduate courses in Medicine is scheduled in January at 10.00 AM to 1.30 PM. This exam includes conceptual questions from MBBS syllabus. The students have to prepare hard to clear this exam in order to get their course of interest. DY Patil Medical College has fixed number of seats for various MD and MS courses.

AIET BTech 2012 Conducting Body

This entrance exam is conducted every year by Dr. D.Y.Patil University.

AIET BTech 2012 Eligibility

The Candidate must be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission.
Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (PCMB) and English as a subject is compulsory.
Candidates with Mathematics will be considered eligible for B.Tech Bioinformatics/B.Tech Biomedical Engineering courses.
The Scheduled caste, Scheduled tribe and OBC students shall have relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility.

AIET BTech 2012 Exam Pattern

The entrance exam will be of 3 hours duration having 300 objective type questions. There will be no negative marking.
