Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a common admission test for the candidates seeking admission for B.Tech. courses. Selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in JEE and the previous academic performance and as per norms of affiliating university.

CIPET JEE 2012 Description

Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET) conducts an admission process for admission to its Post Graduate courses. CIPET is a premier institution set up By Government of India for Academic, Technology Support & Research for the plastic and allied industries. First CIPET was setup in Chennai in 1968 and since then 14 other CIPET have been established in various cities of India. CIPET provides Diploma, PG Diploma, Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Doctoral courses in field of Plastics Engineering & Technology.

CIPET JEE 2012 Conducting Body

CIPET conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to its various Postgraduate courses.

CIPET JEE 2012 Eligibility

M.Tech (Plastic Technology & Engineering): candidate should have done graduation in Mechanical Engg / Chemical Engg/ Production Engg/ Polymer Engg or should be holding MSc degree in polymer Science or Polymer Chemistry.

M.Tech (Nanao Technology): candidate should be engineering graduate chemical engineering or plastics engg & technology/ polymer engineering or should be holding MSc degree in Physics/ chemistry / maths / polymer chemistry.

M.Tech (CAD/CAM/ CAE): candidate should be engineering graduate in aeronautical engg. / tool engg/ mechanical engg/ automobile engg/ mechatronics / production engg / plastics engg.

B.Tech Plastic Engineering & Technology: candidate should be 10+2 passed with minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry and maths subjects.

PGD-PE: candidate should be engineering graduate in mechanical engg / electronics & communication engg./ production egg/ chemical engg / polymer engg. / tool engg/ electrical & electronics engg / petrochemical engg. / electrical engg. /mechatronics engg.

PGD-CAD /CAM PE: candidate should be engineering graduate in mechanical engg. / polymer engg. / production egg. / chemical engg. / tool engg.

PG-CAD PMD: candidate should be engineering diploma holder in mechanical engg. / tool & die making / automobile engg. / mechatronics/ chemical technology/ plastic technology.

PD-MM: candidate should be holding engg. Diploma in electronics engg / mechanical engg/ electrical & electronics engg/ tool & die making / mechatronics.

Diploma Post Diploma: candidate should be 10th passed with Maths, Science and English. Diploma post diploma is an integrated diploma course in plastic technology & plastic module technology.

CIPET JEE 2012 Exam Pattern

The JEE has preliminary and main exam. Preliminary is of 3 hours duration and has questions from physics, mathematics and chemistry. Main exam has physics, chemistry and mathematics papers each of 2 hours duration.

CIPET JEE 2012 Fees Details

Application forms can be obtained from any CIPET centers by Rs.400/- cash payment with a self addressed envelope of size 35 cm stamped for Rs.50/-

They follow syllabus of Senior Secondry Examination.
