In terms of educational qualifications, various diploma, degree, postgraduate (degree/ diploma) in hospitality management are available. Moreover, there are certification courses available in a few selected domains which students can opt for after class X or XII. These certificates add value to one's portfolio.
You need to have an outgoing and pleasant personality, be hardworking, like interacting with people, possess man management skills, as also organisational ability. In addition, you must be committed and dedicated, be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills. Besides, team work, leadership skills and networking skills are a must.
